Job Description
The E-Commerce Content specialist is responsible for coordinating the content of a specific content/category on the online platform. The role holder is accountable for developing, editing, and updating all the data and content on the online platform. The Content Associate plays an important role in ensuring specific product, promotional, and informational content is presented and published in manor to optimize the online customer experience.
ROLE PROFILE
- Develop and ensure implementation of online content for specific category for the online platform.
- Produce content for online platform to ensure products to include descriptions, price, scheduled delivery, origin, and ingredients, as relevant.
- Ensure all content for the respective category on the online platform is updated, relevant and published in a timely manner.
- Manage the online presence of product categories and associated promotional campaigns and provide insights to management for existing and prospective customers.
- Track and analyze the progress of the different products available on the online platform for the respective category to ensure that low in demand, out of stock or unavailable products are unpublished.
- Gather information related to products from the Merchandising Department and suppliers to ensure that content is accurate and up-to-date.
- Review and update the content developed prior to publication on digital channels to ensure consistency and accuracy of content designed.
- Collaborate with vendors/suppliers to execute projects or campaigns related to content development, as per the required standards.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree or advanced diploma in Marketing or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in website content creation and management.
- Excellent writing skills
- Experience in creating content and digital marketing
