Description:

A major renewable energy project in Abu Dhabi is currently seeking an experienced Site HSE Manager who can join immediately. This role is critical to ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance across a large-scale construction and commissioning site. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership capabilities, hands-on site experience, and in-depth knowledge of UAE regulations.

What the Role Requires
• Proven leadership ability to manage HSE matters involving consortium partners, clients, and complex on-site situations
• At least five years of leadership-level HSE experience on large construction or commissioning projects
• Solid experience working on UAE-based projects with a clear understanding of local HSE laws and standards
• Immediate availability to join the project

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all health, safety, and environmental activities at the project site
• Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the Site HSE Management System
• Carry out risk assessments, incident investigations, internal audits, and prepare detailed HSE reports
• Provide support for Permit-to-Work systems, emergency preparedness, and HSE training programs
• Actively promote a strong, positive, and proactive HSE culture throughout the project workforce

Qualifications & Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in HSE, Engineering, or a closely related field
• NEBOSH or an equivalent globally recognized HSE certification
• Working knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards (auditor certification is an added advantage)
