Description:
A well-established construction group in the UAE is currently hiring a Senior Accountant with solid experience in construction and project-based accounting. This role is suited for finance professionals who have hands-on exposure to managing accounts within construction projects and are confident handling financial reporting, cost control, and compliance responsibilities.

The selected candidate will play a key role in overseeing financial operations, supporting project teams, and ensuring accurate reporting in line with accounting standards. This position also offers the opportunity to contribute to process improvements and system enhancements within the finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and finalize periodic financial statements
• Manage general ledger activities, including month-end and year-end closing
• Handle project accounting tasks such as budgeting, cost tracking, and cost control
• Monitor cash flow, manage bank reconciliations, and ensure financial accuracy
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms, internal policies, and accounting standards
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and support system enhancements

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and project-based financial management
