Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance department in a full-time, office-based role. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing detailed reports, and supporting the overall financial integrity and compliance of the organization and its group entities.

This position offers a clear path for professional growth, with increasing responsibilities over time and exposure to a wide range of financial operations.

Role Overview:
As part of the finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate bookkeeping, timely reporting, regulatory compliance, effective budgeting, and providing valuable financial insights to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process invoice payments through the internal accounting system, including international supplier payments
• Prepare detailed monthly and annual financial reports, covering accounts payable, accounts receivable, and UAE regulatory reporting
• Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns in compliance with local regulations
• Manage payments and oversee documentation flow with suppliers and clients
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, maintaining internal Excel trackers and financial data updates
• Issue invoices and completion certificates accurately and on time
• Generate comprehensive debtors and creditors reports
• Support financial operations across multiple companies within the group
• Identify and recommend improvements for process automation and internal controls
• Take on expanding responsibilities in line with a structured professional development plan

Qualifications:

• Strong numerical, written, and verbal communication skills
• Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience in Dubai (experience in tourism, travel, or concierge services is an advantage)
• Solid understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
• Fluency in English and Russian is mandatory
• High level of accuracy, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
• Ability to take ownership of tasks and work independently
• Well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Comfortable working in a flexible and fast-changing environment
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Knowledge of ZOHO accounting systems is considered an advantage
