Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing outsourced accounting services, ensuring high-quality financial reporting and tax compliance, leading accounting teams, and supporting client and revenue growth.
Job Description
- Manage and review outsourced accounting engagements for multiple clients
- Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management accounts
- Ensure compliance with IFRS / IFRS for SMEs and Kenyan regulatory requirements
- Review and approve tax filings including Corporation Tax, VAT, PAYE, and Withholding Tax
- Supervise, mentor, and review work of accounting staff
- Maintain quality control, ethical standards, and proper documentation
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned clients and attend client meetings
- Identify advisory, cross-selling, and revenue growth opportunities
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA (K) qualification and active ICPAK membership
- 6–8 years’ relevant experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, Kenyan tax laws, and compliance frameworks
- Excellent leadership, client management, and communication skills
