Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide monthly and quarterly bookkeeping services for clients by reviewing, categorising, and reconciling transactions.
- Meet highly efficient deadlines and have the ability to quickly process all client work per our service agreement.
- Communicate with team members to summarise month-end closing to ensure books are complete in a timely manner.
- Maintain detailed notes and documents in client files for continuity of service.
- End-to-end bookkeeping on a monthly and quarterly basis for 30-45 clients each monthly and/or quarterly closing cycle.
- Record day-to-day financial transactions for accounts receivable (A/R).
Skills:
- Highly proficient skills in bookkeeping.
- 3+ years of paid experience in a bookkeeper role for a small business.
- Active QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification.
- Minimum of one year of experience working with QuickBooks Online.
- QuickBooks Desktop experience (preferred but not required).
- Online proficiency with technology; solid knowledge of computer software.
- Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information.
- Continuous improvement mindset and the ability to adapt to changing demands.
- Highly analytical, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
