The Head of Growth will drive the next stage of Axmed’s commercial expansion by building a data-led, insight-driven revenue engine. This role sits at the intersection of business intelligence, opportunity generation, and direct commercial execution, with a non-negotiable requirement for deep experience in leveraging data and qualitative insights to drive business intelligence and commercial tactics. You will shape how we use data to identify new opportunities, ensuring our commercial strategy is guided by strategy, insights, and evidence, not intuition.
As an individual contributor who collaborates closely with our Commercial Directors, you will convert insights into action, strengthen our outbound strategy, and accelerate revenue growth across priority markets. This position is suited to a commercially minded leader who is comfortable operating in a fast-scaling Series A environment and who brings a strong background in pharma, SaaS growth, and business intelligence.
Your work will directly inform how we grow, where we focus, and how quickly we scale our marketplace impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Data & Commercial Insights Leadership
- Use data and business intelligence tools to identify new commercial opportunities
- Build an insights engine that surfaces high-value leads and signals.
- Translate data into actionable commercial strategies for BD Directors and leadership.
- Develop repeatable processes for opportunity qualification and prioritisation.
- Monitor commercial performance and recommend pipeline optimisations.
Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Convert cold and warm leads into qualified opportunities.
- Partner with BD Directors to strengthen outreach and deepen customer engagement.
- Engage prospective customers with a clear understanding of pharma use cases and marketplace value.
- Support the development of tailored pitches and value narratives.
Commercial Strategy Execution
- Lead insight-driven planning for revenue targets and market prioritisation.
- Identify patterns in customer behaviour and synthesize them into growth hypotheses.
- Work with cross-functional teams (product, data, operations) to unlock commercial opportunities.
Marketplace Expertise & Leadership
- Understand the dynamics of selling into pharma and SaaS-like environments.
- Act as a thought partner to leadership on commercial growth strategy.
- Model high-performance behaviours in a fast-paced Series A context.
Requirements:
- Experience in the pharma industry, specifically selling to pharma decisionโmakers
- Demonstrated success selling SaaS solutions to the pharmaceutical sector
- Hands-on capability in data and business intelligence
- Proven experience driving commercial growth in SaaS environments
- Demonstrated commercial leadership qualities
- Ability to translate data into commercial action
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous, high-growth environments
- Track record of generating revenue and accelerating commercial pipelines
