We’re Hiring: Commis Chef – Mexican Cuisine

Overview:
Join Kitopi’s fast-paced kitchen team as a Commis Chef specialising in Mexican cuisine. You’ll work alongside experienced chefs to prepare authentic dishes consistently, maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene, and help deliver a smooth service across busy shifts. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in Mexican or Latin American cooking who wants to grow within a leading food-tech company.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist in preparing traditional Mexican dishes, ensuring recipes and presentation meet quality standards.
• Support senior chefs with daily kitchen prep, mise en place and cooking tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene, following food safety protocols at all times.
• Ensure correct storage and handling of ingredients to preserve quality and reduce waste.
• Contribute to efficient service operations, helping the team maintain a smooth workflow during peak periods.

What We’re Looking For:

• Practical experience in Mexican or Latin American cuisine (mandatory).
• Strong passion for cooking and eagerness to learn and develop.
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, multicultural kitchen environment.
• Team-player attitude with a positive, can-do approach.
• Immediate availability or ability to join on short notice is preferred.
