Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Creation & Management
- Plan, create, and publish engaging content across all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Shoot, edit, and post TikTok videos and other multimedia content to support brand awareness.
- Ensure all content aligns with the company’s brand voice and guidelines.
- Maintain a weekly and monthly content calendar.
Community Management
- Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor online conversations and escalate issues where necessary.
- Build meaningful interactions that promote customer satisfaction and brand loyalty.
Marketing Support
- Work closely with the marketing department to execute digital marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Assist in planning and promoting events, product launches, and special offers via social media.
- Track performance of campaigns and suggest optimization ideas.
Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor social media insights, trends, and growth metrics.
- Prepare weekly or monthly reports on engagement, reach, and content performance.
- Recommend improvements based on data and industry best practices.
Brand Representation
- Stay updated on social media trends, content formats, and competitor activity.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms.
- Proactively suggest innovative ideas that increase visibility and audience engagement.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communication, Media Studies, Digital Marketing, or a related field
- 1–2 years experience in social media management or content creation (internship experience acceptable)
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their analytics tools
- Proven ability to create TikTok videos and other short-form content
- Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Basic graphic design or video editing skills are an added advantage
Salary: Ksh. 25,000 - Ksh. 30,000
