To support our growth, we are seeking a dedicated Accountant to join our team. This role supports the Head of Finance in managing daily financial operations and includes academy administration duties, such as assisting players and parents, handling registrations, and supporting customer-facing activities.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist with month-end closing
• Support tax compliance and financial reporting
• Collaborate with internal departments to streamline financial processes

Academy Administration

• Communicate with potential new players and parents
• Take attendance registers for players on site
• Follow up with players who have trialed at the academy
• Assist with kit distribution and general front-facing support

Qualifications

Required

• 2–3 years of professional accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
• Solid knowledge of UAE compliance and taxation
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred

• ACCA, CMA, or similar professional certifications
• Passion for football and youth development
