Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect, identify, and acquire new clients for janitorial services and cleaning products.
- Present, promote, and sell detergents, disinfectants, toilet supplies, cleaning consumables, and equipment.
- Market and upsell janitorial service packages, including daily cleaning, deep cleaning, pest control, and waste management.
- Conduct effective product demos, service presentations, and client pitches.
- Negotiate pricing, prepare proposals, and close deals to meet monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
- Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure satisfaction with delivered services and products.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and support.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
- Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, activity logs, and sales forecasts.
- Provide feedback to internal teams regarding client needs, market gaps, and product performance.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven sales experience of at least 2 years, ideally within janitorial services, hygiene products, or the service industry.
- Energetic, young, and outgoing personality with the confidence to engage clients and build rapport quickly.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand client needs and tailor appropriate solutions.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Valid driving license is an added advantage.
Salary: Ksh. 20,000
