Description:
We are looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Abu Dhabi team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in accounting practices specific to the UAE, covering financial management, accounts receivable, payroll, and client coordination. This role requires a professional who can maintain compliance with local regulations while supporting the organization’s financial strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all accounting operations, ensuring compliance with IFRS/GAAP standards.
• Collaborate with internal departments to align accounting functions with business objectives.
• Supervise accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection and accurate reconciliation.
• Coordinate with clients and PROs for billing, documentation, and compliance purposes.
• Process payroll in accordance with UAE labour laws and wage protection regulations.
• Liaise with banks and insurance providers for transactions, facilities, and policy management.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and expenditures to facilitate strategic decision-making.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, statutory requirements, and audit standards.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.
• Perform additional duties and special assignments as directed by management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; Master’s degree or professional certification is an advantage.
• Minimum 15 years of accounting experience, including at least 10 years in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE accounting standards, VAT, and compliance regulations.

Proven expertise in:

• Accounts receivable management
• Client and PRO coordination
• Payroll processing
• Bank and insurance transactions
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in QuickBooks, MS Office, ERP systems, and other accounting software.
• Must be currently residing in the UAE and able to join within one month.
