Safety Officer – Abu Dhabi

GK Global is seeking dedicated Safety Officers to join our team and help maintain a safe, healthy, and compliant work environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and continuously monitor health & safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards.
• Recommend and implement preventive measures to mitigate workplace risks.
• Organize safety training sessions, drills, and awareness programs for employees.
• Investigate incidents, prepare detailed reports, and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Ensure compliance with local and international safety standards and regulations.

Requirements:

• Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related engineering field (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical).
• NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent safety certification is required.
• 2–4 years of professional experience in a safety-related role; experience in oil & gas projects is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, best practices, and risk management.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be based in the UAE and ready to join immediately.
