Job Description
This role involves hands-on work in plastering, skimming, wall finishing, and general masonry tasks within active construction sites in Kisumu County.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must reside in Kisumu County
- Experience in plastering, masonry, finishing work, or general civil works
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic understanding of construction safety procedures
- Reliability, good workmanship, and attention to detail
- Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) are highly encouraged to apply if able to perform the essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform plastering, skimming, and finishing on walls and ceilings
- Execute masonry tasks including blockwork, rendering, and surface preparation
- Ensure high-quality finishing according to project standards
- Work collaboratively with construction teams and site supervisors
- Maintain safety practices and adhere to site regulations
- Conduct minor repairs, touch-ups, and finishing corrections as needed
Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory)
- Certificate or Artisan qualification in:
- Building & Construction
- Masonry / Plastering
- Construction Technology
- Previous site experience in finishing or civil works
