Job Description

About the Role

  • We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Recruitment Team Lead to oversee our talent acquisition team in Kenya. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding recruiters, ensuring hiring targets are met, and implementing best practices in recruitment processes. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to build effective strategies for attracting and retaining top talent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of recruiters, providing coaching and performance feedback.
  • Oversee the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing and screening to onboarding.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Monitor KPIs and ensure hiring targets are achieved within set timelines.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and workforce planning.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
  • Prepare recruitment reports and present insights to senior management.
  • Drive initiatives to improve candidate experience and employer branding.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in recruitment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment tools, ATS systems, and sourcing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in coaching and developing recruitment teams.
  • Fluency in English; Swahili is an added advantage.
