DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Engagement & Sales Execution
- Drive sales of custom furniture solutions by understanding client needs, design preferences, and functional requirements.
- Lead in-depth consultations with residential and commercial clients, providing expert advice on furniture styles, finishes, materials, and spatial arrangements.
- Develop compelling, design-forward proposals that align with client expectations and project goals.
Collaboration & Project Coordination
- Work closely with design, production, and logistics teams to ensure proposals are feasible, aligned with design standards, and delivered within the agreed timelines.
- Communicate client feedback and requirements clearly to internal teams to enable seamless project execution.
Sales Strategy & Performance Tracking
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand the company’s market presence.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, prepare regular reports, and present actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Identify emerging market trends, client needs, and competitive opportunities to inform business decisions.
Relationship Management & Brand Representation
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships through consistent follow-ups and superior customer service.
- Represent the brand at trade shows, design expos, networking events, and client presentations to enhance visibility and generate new leads.
- Uphold brand values and ensure a high level of professionalism in all interactions.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Degree/Diploma in Interior Design
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in furniture, interior design, or luxury goods
- Strong understanding of design principles, space planning, and material selection
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM tools and design software (e.g., Canva, SketchUp, or similar)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and client expectations simultaneously
- Passion for design, craftsmanship, and customer satisfaction
Salary: Ksh. 30,000 - Ksh. 50,000
