Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Solar PV Technician to join our team in Nairobi. As a Solar PV Technician, you will play a critical role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar photovoltaic systems. This position requires a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical systems, as well as a passion for renewable energy.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair solar photovoltaic systems.
• Conduct site assessments to evaluate the suitability of locations for solar panels.
• Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance of solar systems.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to ensure projects are completed to specification.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during installations and repairs.
• Document all maintenance and repair work performed.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering.
• Proven experience as a Solar PV Technician or similar role.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various sites.
