Job Description
  • Our client, a leading retail company, is seeking to hire a Retail Shop Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the retail store. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff performance, and maintaining effective coordination between physical and online store operations.
  • The ideal candidate is a proactive, organized, and results-driven professional with strong leadership and retail management experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all store operations, including sales, customer service, merchandising, and cash management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, customer feedback, and product trends to inform business decisions.
  • Lead and supervise store staff — including scheduling, training, performance tracking, and motivation.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by resolving inquiries, complaints, and escalations promptly.
  • Manage inventory levels, coordinate stock replenishment, and oversee product displays and visual standards.
  • Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders (both in-store and online).
  • Collaborate with the procurement, dispatch, and marketing teams to ensure product availability and promotional execution.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and compliance with brand presentation standards.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, cash handling procedures, and operational SOPs.
  • Conduct daily floor walk-throughs to identify gaps in service, merchandising, and operations.
  • Prepare accurate sales, inventory, and performance reports and submit them to management.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, reduce wastage, and improve customer experience.
  • Support HR in onboarding, coaching, and disciplinary management of store staff.
  • Promote a positive, high-performance culture built on accountability, teamwork, and customer focus.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–4 years’ experience in retail management or supervisory roles, preferably in a fast-paced retail or e-commerce environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Excellent understanding of retail sales techniques, merchandising, and customer experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and POS/ERP systems.
  • Highly organized with keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism and service excellence.
  • Flexible, reliable, and results-oriented with a passion for retail operations
