Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage IT operations and infrastructure across all Spiro geographies, ensuring high availability of systems supporting swap stations, charging hubs, and energy networks.
- Oversee employee IT services including laptops/desktops, collaboration tools, cloud accounts, and enterprise applications (HR, Admin, Finance, and CRM).
- Implement and maintain network infrastructure connecting battery swap stations, charging points, and service hubs, ensuring robust uptime and data synchronization with central systems.
- Drive cybersecurity, data privacy, and disaster recovery strategies aligned with ISO 27001, NIST, and global best practices.
- Partner with Energy Operations, IoT, and AI teams to enable real-time analytics, predictive maintenance, and automated monitoring of connected assets.
- Manage large-scale distributed hardware infrastructure such as routers, CCTV, IoT gateways, solar inverters, and industrial edge devices, ensuring reliable connectivity and power redundancy.
- Define and monitor SLAs, uptime metrics, and response protocols for all IT and field infrastructure systems.
- Collaborate with Cloud Engineering and DevOps teams for hybrid deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP) ensuring scalability and cost optimization.
- Lead and mentor a regional IT team; oversee vendor management, procurement, and contract negotiations with ISPs, OEMs, and energy network providers.
- Align IT strategy with business expansion plans—supporting new country launches, swap station rollouts, and EV fleet growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience in multi-country IT operations, preferably within EV, energy, or petrol-station networks.
- Strong background in network design, hybrid cloud, and systems administration.
- Hands-on experience managing IoT or telemetry-based distributed assets, particularly in charging, swapping, or industrial environments.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity, data protection, and governance frameworks.
- Excellent leadership, vendor management, and communication skills with ability to deliver under pressure in a fast-scaling, tech-driven environment.
