Job Summary

The Health Systems Strengthening Officer will be responsible for supporting initiatives aimed at enhancing the capacity of health systems to deliver essential medical services efficiently. The officer will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the availability and accessibility of essential drugs and medical supplies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and stakeholders to strengthen health systems and improve service delivery.
  • Develop and implement strategies for the efficient distribution of essential drugs and medical supplies.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of health systems interventions and suggest improvements.
  • Provide technical support and training to healthcare professionals to enhance their capacity in pharmaceutical and healthcare service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards within the pharmaceutical supply chain.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to health system strengthening activities.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Health Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field.
  • 5 years' experience in customer care services within the healthcare sector.
  • Strong understanding of health systems strengthening concepts and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and data management.
