Job Summary
Brites Management Services is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, and providing financial insights to support our consulting services.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain financial records, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts receivable and payable.
- Prepare tax returns and ensure timely submission to relevant authorities.
- Provide financial reports and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations.
Requirements
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounting or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
