Tally Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tally Accountant to join our team at Brites Management Services in Nairobi, Kenya. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with specific expertise in the use of Tally software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations using Tally ERP software.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports, statements, and records.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Conduct internal audits and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting processes.
  • Calculate, prepare, and submit statutory deductions such as PAYE, SHIF, NSSF, and VAT.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an accountant, with expertise in Tally ERP software.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
