Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Set up welding machines based on the job at hand or using a welding procedure specification.
- Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.
- Follow, create and help maintain welding and fabricating procedures specifications.
- Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Follow all company rules and policies.
- Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.
- Fabrications of equipment.
- Read and interpret technical drawings.
- Any other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor
Qualifications and Experience
Academic Qualifications
- At least a diploma or Trade test Grade 1 qualification in mechanical Welding and fabrication or their equivalent.
Experience
- At least 2 – 3 years’ experience in welding, fitting, lubrication and fabrication.
Skills
- Ability to work independently but also enjoy working in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Self-driven and keen to follow instructions.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability and readiness to work under pressure.
