Job Description
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the HR function at the property level, ensuring full compliance with Group HR policies and statutory requirements.
- Partner with Heads of Departments to drive manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Champion performance management, learning and development, and talent retention strategies.
- Manage employee relations, discipline, and welfare in alignment with company policy and labor laws.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the HR team.
- Ensure accurate HR reporting, documentation, and coordination with the Group HR office.
Qualifications & experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in HRM, Business Administration, or related field.
- CHRP (K) certification and valid IHRM membership are mandatory.
- Minimum of 5 years’ progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years at management level in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of Kenyan labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
