Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Events & Training Planning & Coordination (50%):

 

  • Plan, organize, and execute events and training sessions.
  • Manage event logistics including venue booking, catering, decor and audiovisual set up. 
  • Promote events through social media, email campaigns, and newsletters.
  • Build and maintain relationships with SMEs, ESOs, and potential sponsors.
  • Track event attendance, engagement, and feedback for continuous improvement.

Brand Creation & Community Engagement (30%):

 

  • Develop and maintain a strong brand identity for Nyali Capital and Ecobiz Sacco.
  • Create compelling content for marketing materials and social media platforms.
  • Foster a sense of community among SMEs through supporting networking events and online forums.
  • Manage social media presence to boost brand visibility and engagement.

Research & Impact Assessment (20%):

 

  • Conduct research to measure the impact of funding on SMEs.
  • Collect and analyze data to track business growth, job creation, and financial stability.
  • Present insights and reports to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

 

  • Event Impact: Attendance rates, engagement levels, and participant feedback analysis.
  • Brand Performance: Growth in brand awareness, social media engagement, and online community expansion.
  • Research & Reporting: Quality of research insights, stakeholder satisfaction, and timeliness of report submission.

Qualifications and Experience;

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related.
  • Proven experience in event planning, brand development, and community engagement.
  • Knowledge and experience in the use of online design and creative tools.
  • Experience managing social media platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross- functional team.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
