Job Description

What You Will Do

  • Assist in the recruitment process through sourcing, analyzing the candidates for shortlisting and coordinating the interview process.
  • Initiate and coordinate the induction process and ensure that background checks for candidates are done.
  • Initiate and coordinate the staff confirmation process with the relevant departmental heads.
  • Ensure efficient administration of staff benefits.
  • Implementation of the company's internal training plans and ensuring that training is approved by NITA and claims for reimbursements submitted.
  • Implementation and monitoring of annual leave plans as per the company plan and in accordance with the law.
  • Ensure that all employees are registered with statutory bodies, and all dues are submitted as provided by the law.
  • Ensuring that all staff files are complete as per the law, updated, and safely kept.
  • Coordinate staff clearance procedures and ensure that the dues are paid and certificate of service issued on time.
  • Management of attaches, interns, and students' contracts.
  • Ensure that the department has an efficient record management system.
  • Working closely with the management team to support HR functions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
  • CHRP certification or membership with IHRM is desirable.
  • 3 years' work experience in a busy HR department.
  • Proven experience in implementing HR strategies and policies.
  • Strong knowledge of manpower planning, employee relations and labor law compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability in people management and employee counseling.
  • Understanding of ethical and legal aspects of HR practices.
