Quality Control Officer

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Control Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all food products meet quality and safety standards before they reach the consumer. This role is crucial in maintaining the company's reputation for excellence in the food and beverage industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular quality checks and inspections on food products and manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and implement quality control tests and procedures.
  • Analyze and interpret data from tests to ensure consistency and quality of products.
  • Monitor and report any discrepancies or quality deviations to management.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of quality reports, statistical reviews, and relevant documentation.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Food Science, Industrial Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in quality control within the food processing or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations in the food industry.
