Job Description

Position: Members to the Board of Greenpeace Africa (Gpaf) at

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic guidance and oversight to Greenpeace Africa in alignment with the global Greenpeace mission.
  • Ensure that the organization is appropriately resourced to achieve its objectives.
  • <>Monitor and evaluate the performance of the organization and its leadership.
  • Participate in board meetings and contribute to high-level decision-making.
  • Facilitate partnerships and collaborations that align with Greenpeace's goals.
  • Uphold the principles and values of Greenpeace in all board activities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in project management, preferably within the non-profit sector.
  • Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to environmental conservation and the mission of Greenpeace.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and stakeholders.
  • Relevant educational qualifications (Degree or Diploma).
