Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Admissions Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing patient admissions and ensuring a smooth and efficient process for both patients and hospital staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle patient admissions and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain patient records and ensure data integrity in the hospital's information system.
  • Coordinate with medical and administrative staff to facilitate patient admissions and discharges.
  • Provide information and assistance to patients and their families regarding hospital services and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures during the admissions process.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and other administrative tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Administration, Secretarial Studies, or a related field.
  • 3 years proven experience in a similar role within a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Strong secretarial and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and hospital information systems.
