Our client, a fast-scaling cleantech company, is looking for Solar Technicians (T1/T2 licensed) to join their team.
The role involves installation, troubleshooting, and customer training for their solar products, ensuring reliable deployment and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Install solar systems, panels, and accessories in compliance with safety standards
• Perform DC/AC wiring, RCD, grounding, and site assessments
• Diagnose and repair faults in batteries, inverters, and Wi-Fi routers
• Train customers on safe and effective use of systems
• Record and submit installation/fault reports accurately
• Support shop demonstrations and community activations
• Provide feedback to the product team on technical issues
Requirements & Qualifications
• Valid EPRA T1 or T2 Solar Technician license (or proof of eligibility)
• Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Solar, or related technical field
• 1–3 years’ hands-on experience in solar/electrical installation
• Strong knowledge of DC/AC wiring, tools, and safety compliance
• Good communication skills for customer interaction and training
• Willingness to travel frequently and relocate to rural towns if required
• Motorcycle license (advantage)

Salary: Monthly Gross Salary: KES 40,000 – 50,000(Approx 375 USD)
