° The Associate, Governance, will support the Manager, Corporate Governance, in the adoption and implementation of effective corporate governance frameworks, practices and standards while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The Associate shall- provide board support and secretarial services to allocated portfolios of subsidiary companies' boards, and board and management committees.
° provide support to committee members on governance matters, ensuring effective and efficient functioning of all boards and committees by adopting an appropriate standard of governance.
° assist with ensuring compliance with the applicable statutory, regulatory and corporate governance requirements for boards and management committees.
Qualifications
Type of Qualification: First Degree
Field of Study: Legal
° Certified Secretary and a member of the Institute of Certified Secretaries in good standing
° Advocate of the High Court of Kenya
Experience Required
5 years
° Experience in governance and company secretarial matters
Education: Degree, Diploma
