Responsibilities:
° Develop and implement marketing campaigns tailored to the engineering/industrial sector.
° Create technical marketing content, including brochures, datasheets, case studies, and website content.
° Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to simplify and translate complex technical concepts into customer-friendly messaging.
° Manage digital marketing activities including email campaigns, LinkedIn updates, and website management.
° Plan, coordinate, and participate in trade shows, exhibitions, webinars, and industry events.
° Grow and maintain the company’s online presence across professional networks and industry directories.
° Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
° Track campaign performance using analytics tools, providing insights and ROI reporting.
° Assist in preparing marketing budgets, media plans, and vendor coordination.
° Travel occasionally outside Nairobi to meet clients and support field marketing activities.
Requirements:
° Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
° Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing, preferably in an engineering, industrial, or manufacturing environment.
° Strong understanding of technical products and the ability to create relevant marketing content.
° Proficiency in marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and email marketing platforms.
° Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
° Strong project management, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
° Experience in marketing engineering services or product-based companies.
° Knowledge of industrial markets (mechanical, electrical, civil, or manufacturing).
° Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, sales, and engineering).
° Basic knowledge of CAD drawings, technical documentation, or industrial equipment is a plus.
