Detailed Responsibilities
Content Creation & Copywriting
° Develop engaging written content for digital platforms, including websites, blogs, newsletters and social media.
° Ensure tone, style and messaging align with brand guidelines and storytelling objectives.
° Collaborate with internal teams to source stories, updates and insights from the field.
° Share unique selling points, stories and updates with the Wilderness marketing and sales team.
° Share reels and short video updates from the field (including live updates when in camp).
° Conduct interviews and prepare staff profiles.
° Create visually appealing graphics, layouts and digital assets for campaigns, presentations, and social media.
Design & Visual Communication
° Draft engaging social media captions and maintain a content calendar for consistent storytelling.
° Research, write and edit blogs, news stories and monthly wildlife/game reports.
° Assist in photo and video editing for digital use.
° Provide copywriting support, including fact-checking, blogs and promotional materials.
= Support the development of branded templates and design systems for a consistent visual identity.
Digital Media Coordination
° Assist in designing and scheduling newsletters and email campaigns.
° Schedule and publish content across digital channels to ensure timely and strategic delivery.
° Support website updates, ensuring all content, offers and images remain current.
° Help monitor digital performance using Google Analytics and Google Ads, providing insights to optimize campaigns.
° Liaise with external creatives, photographers and agencies as needed.
Brand Stewardship
Uphold brand standards across all creative outputs.
° Ensure consistency in messaging, tone and visual identity across platforms and campaigns.
Collaborate with Wilderness digital/creative teams to ensure all online Kenya-related materials are up to date and factually accurate.

° Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns and initiatives.
° Liaise with resident photographers on shot lists, permits, logistics and photobank management.
° Work with Wilderness creative team on photography/videography bookings, ensuring brand benefit.
° Coordinate collaborations with journalists, influencers and media partners, while supporting Wilderness PR team for joint initiatives.
° Support digital housekeeping including domain renewals.
° Maintain content calendars and support cross-functional collaboration.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Qualification:
° Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Design or related field.
° Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or Canva is an advantage but not necessary.
Experience:
° 2–4 years if experience in digital content creation, graphic design or marketing communications.
