DESCRIPTION
Prompt production of food and Beverages
RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparing and provision of timely meals within set time schedules as per the laid-out policies, processes and procedures
Sets buffets and banquet for service
Portion control while serving and dispatching food to units.
Maintain safety and hygiene standards in food preparation and service
Optimal use of resources to avoid wastage
Adhere to all sanitation and infection control guidelines within the kitchen and food service areas.
Check all chemical levels and inventory to support daily reporting.
Assist the Cooks and waiter/waitresses’ as necessary for timely preparation and service of food
Sort and dispose of waste within the kitchen, cafeteria and other food service areas
Keep an updated inventory of kitchen items.
QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma/Certificate in Food Production/Food & Beverage Management
At least 1 year and up to 3 years’ experience
