Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage daily operations of the meat processing and food plant, from procurement to final product distribution.
Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams.
Oversee procurement, meat processing operations, production, sales, marketing, logistics, and customer service functions to ensure operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, meat handling standards, and maintain high product quality.
Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, controlling costs to maximize profitability.
Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering a positive and high-performance work culture.
Oversee HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
Prepare and present performance reports to the Directors with actionable recommendations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Food Science, or a related field; an MBA is an added advantage.
Minimum 5–7 years in a senior management role within the food industry, with direct experience in meat processing operations.
In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP standards, and supply chain management.
Proven track record in driving business growth and leading cross-functional teams.
Strong leadership, decision-making, and financial management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.
Proficiency in business management software, HRIS systems
Salary: Monthly Net Salary: Kes 200,000-250,000(Approx1550USD)
