Key Responsibilities:
Act as the Superintendent Pharmaceutical Technologist for the facility.
Ensure compliance with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) regulations and all relevant laws governing pharmacy practice.
Oversee day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, including dispensing, stock management, and patient counseling.
Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, controlled drugs, and pharmacy documentation.
Supervise and mentor junior staff to ensure professional standards of practice.
Promote medication safety, adherence, and good dispensing practices.
Support procurement and formulary management in line with facility policies.
Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized institution.
Minimum of 3 years relevant post-licensure experience.
Licensed and in good standing with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Kenya.
Must hold a valid and current Superintendent Pharmaceutical Technologist License (Unattached).
Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, ethics, and good dispensing practices.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
