Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Recruitment & Onboarding: Managing the entire hiring process, from attracting and selecting candidates to onboarding new employees and ensuring proper documentation.

 

Compensation & Benefits: Administering and reviewing employee benefits and salary structures, while ensuring compliance with regulations.

 

Employee Relations: Fostering positive relationships between employers and employees, addressing grievances, and handling disciplinary actions when necessary.

 

Training & Development: Developing and implementing training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, especially crucial for healthcare professionals.

 

Compliance: Ensuring the hospital adheres to all labor laws and regulations, maintaining compliance in all HR policies and procedures.

 

Performance Management: Overseeing the performance appraisal system to ensure its proper implementation and compliance.

 

Workplace Safety: Creating and maintaining a safe work environment for all hospital staff.

 

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

 

Degree in HR Management

 

3 plus years experience as a HRM/O in a healthcare set up

 

A strong understanding of human resource principles, labor laws, and best practices

 

The ability to lead teams, manage projects, and oversee various HR functions effectively

 

Excellent communication skills to interact with staff, management, and external stakeholders

 

The capacity to resolve conflicts, address employee issues, and find solutions to HR-related challenges

 

Strong organizational skills to manage documentation, office operations, and various HR programs

 

 

Salary: Ksh. 60,000 - Ksh. 70,000
