DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, cold calling, networking, and client visits.
Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of sale in line with company policies.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as set by management.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
Act as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales support.
Provide accurate information regarding product specifications, pricing, and availability.
Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues promptly.
Manage order processing from quotation to delivery in coordination with production and logistics teams.
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
Collect and analyze customer feedback and market trends to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Monitor competitor activities and suggest strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
Diploma in Purchasing and Supplies, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
3–5 years of proven experience in sales or customer service, ideally within a plastics manufacturing or industrial products company
Experience selling plastic tanks, piping, or construction materials will be a strong advantage
Strong understanding of the Nairobi and regional market dynamics
