Job Description

What You’ll Do for Us:

 

Support regional indirect tax (ITX) operations, ensuring efficient processes, technology, tools, vendor management, and compliance with regulations.

 

Lead the sub-regional ITX Center of Excellence (COE), ensuring necessary resources and effective team management.

 

Supervise ITX Consultants to meet accurate and timely reporting obligations in the region.

 

Collaborate with process teams (P2P, OTC, Intercompany) to ensure accurate tax postings in ERP (SAP).

 

Align sub-regional indirect tax processes with corporate goals and address external developments like tax digitalization.

 

Enforce ITX policies, governance frameworks, and maintain consistency in practices and documentation.

 

Identify and mitigate indirect tax risks and manage tax audits/disputes.

 

Develop and track ITX metrics/KPIs and coordinate with tax technology teams on automation and reporting tools.

 

Act as a regional liaison, fostering collaboration among local stakeholders and the global COE team to implement tax initiatives and monitor regulatory changes

 

Qualifications & Requirements: 

 

Master’s degree in finance/accounting or tax law required; professional tax certification preferred.

 

5-10 years of indirect tax compliance in a multinational company.

 

Strong knowledge of regional Indirect Tax Regulations; SAP and e-invoicing experience a plus.

 

Proven experience in change projects with a focus on operational excellence.

 

Critical thinking, problem-solving, and ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.

 

Solution-oriented, process improvement mindset with adaptability to fast-paced environments.

 

Strong business acumen, financial expertise, English fluency, global perspective, and collaboration skills.
