This is a senior, revenue-owning role. The person will be responsible for driving sales across Milly’s three core product lines: mango pulp (B2B and export), Picana branded juices (retail/B2C), and dried fruit (B2B & B2C). They will build pipelines, close new clients, scale distribution, grow existing accounts (e.g., Britannia Uganda), and potentially build out a small sales network or agent structure.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-end sales ownership for mango pulp, Picana, and dried fruit
Identify, qualify, and close new B2B and B2C customers (manufacturers, distributors, retailers, institutional buyers) Grow and deepen key existing accounts into reference clients
Establish and manage regional distribution/partnerships (Uganda, Ethiopia, Rwanda, and beyond)
Develop pricing, promotions, and seasonal push plans
Forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting (CRM usage expected)
Negotiate contracts and payment terms
Coordinate with marketing and operations to ensure fulfillment and alignment
Required Profile:
5+ years in sales/commercial leadership within FMCG, food & beverage, or agro-processing
Proven ability to sell both bulk ingredient products and branded consumer goods
Strong network or experience in East African markets (especially Uganda, Ethiopia, Kenya) and exposure to export clients
Deal structuring, negotiation, and pipeline management skills
Comfortable with regional travel and hands-on business development
CRM literate and results-oriented
Preferred / Differentiators:
Experience selling certified food products (e.g., FSSC 22000)
Track record building distributor or agent networks
Multilingual (Swahili/English) or familiarity with regional buyer dynamics
