Job Description

Key Responsibilities

 

Systems Setup & Maintenance

 

Design and implement basic IT infrastructure (hardware, networks, cloud platforms) suitable for a scaling organization.

 

Set up and maintain devices: laptops, printers, network equipment, phones.

 

Manage cloud services (e.g. G-Suite, Microsoft 365) and other productivity tools.

 

User Support

 

Provide timely technical support to all staff (hardware, software, connectivity, troubleshooting).

 

Train staff on using digital tools and best practices for efficiency.

 

Develop simple user guides and how-to documents.

 

Network & Connectivity

 

Oversee internet service provider (ISP) and network setup (Wi-Fi, LAN) for reliable office connectivity.

 

Ensure basic network performance monitoring and maintenance.

 

Data & Asset Management

 

Set up and monitor data backup solutions.

 

Maintain an IT asset inventory (hardware, software licenses).

 

Vendor Coordination

 

Liaise with external IT service providers, suppliers, and consultants as needed.

 

Manage procurement of IT equipment and software.

 

Required Qualifications & Skills

 

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

 

3+ years experience in IT support / systems administration.

 

Hands-on experience with hardware setup, networking basics, and cloud platforms.

 

Ability to work independently and integrate IT solutions from scratch.

 

Strong interpersonal skills — able to support a non-technical team.
