Are you passionate about nurturing a love for reading, research, and lifelong learning? Rose of Sharon Academy is looking for a dynamic and experienced School Librarian to manage and grow both our physical and virtual libraries.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Library and Information Science, Library Science, or Records Management
At least 3 years of experience in a school library setting, preferably at the senior school level
Proven ability to operate and manage both physical and digital libraries
Proficiency in Google Suite, library databases, and Integrated Library Systems
Familiarity with current trends in library services for children and young adults
Strong interpersonal, communication, and project management skills
Highly organised, tech-savvy, and capable of leading library initiatives independently
Desirable Attributes
Experience in developing and managing a library from scratch
Knowledge of the developmental, educational, and recreational needs of learners
Approachable, creative, and driven to innovate in library services
Ability to plan engaging library programs and support learning outcome
