You’ll be a key member of a dynamic legal team handling everything from contract drafting and court appearances to legal research and client advisory. This role is ideal for a recently admitted advocate (2–3 years PQE) with broad interests beyond criminal law and a passion for quality drafting and impactful advocacy.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft contracts, agreements, leases, wills, affidavits, pleadings, and legal opinions
Handle civil, family, employment, and succession court appearances
Conduct legal research and develop advisory briefs
Support land transactions, business registration, and commercial deal execution
Assist in client interviews, negotiations, and dispute resolution
Minimum Qualifications:
Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, in good standing
2–3 years of post-admission experience in a general or boutique law firm
Strong legal drafting and moderate litigation experience
LLB + Postgraduate Diploma in Law (KSL)
Familiarity with conveyancing, commercial law, family law, and land matters
Proficiency in legal research tools, MS Office, and case management systems
