KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Execution
- Translate the CEO’s vision and strategic priorities into clear, actionable plans with measurable outcomes.
- Lead the implementation and accountability of company-wide quarterly objectives (Rocks), KPIs (Scorecard), and meeting routines, including weekly leadership meetings and quarterly strategy reviews.
- Maintain a sharp focus on achieving growth targets, managing costs effectively, and ensuring long-term organizational sustainability.
- Drive the successful delivery of the company’s P&L by aligning and coordinating revenue-generating and cost-control initiatives across all departments.
- Track and influence key financial performance metrics, including revenue growth, gross margins, project profitability, and labour efficiency
Communication
- Drive clarity and consistency in internal communication
- Ensure company meetings (weekly, quarterly, and annual meetings) are productive and well-structure
Leadership Accountability
- Hold department heads accountable for departmental deliverables and performance standards
Process Adherence
- Ensure that the system is being used effectively
- Ensure that processes are documented, followed and continuously improved across departments.
- Work with the leadership team to eliminate inefficiencies and bottlenecks
Issues Resolution and Decision Making
- Proactively identify and resolve issues that hinder execution.
- Provide direction in resolving matters objectively.
Qualification
JOB SUMMARY:
- The business strategist executes the company’s vision by harmonizing the major functions of the business—i.e. Sales, Operations, Finance, and HR—ensuring they are aligned and working efficiently toward the company’s goals.
- This role will operationalize the visionary’s ideas, ensure smooth execution of strategic priorities, foster accountability across departments and oversee the overall operations of the business.
- The business strategist does not replace department heads but ensures alignment, collaboration and performance at the leadership level.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in administration/management/economics or related field. (Masters is preferred)
- Proficiency in AI tools
- 5 years' work experience in the Construction industry
Salary: Kshs. 175,000 - Kshs. 180, 000
