Job Description

Responsibility Summary:

  • Provide visionary leadership to branch teams, build synergies across teams and foster strategic partnerships for business growth.
  • Drive profitability by optimizing balance sheet, managing costs and growing high quality asset and deposit portfolios.
  •  Ensure compliance, improve customer service delivery, and lead innovation in products and market expansion.
  • Champion talent development, performance management, and staff motivation to build a high-performing team culture

Academic & Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field, (MBA) is an advantage.
  • Minimum 10 years of banking experience with an understanding of Bank policies and external regulations, with at least 4 years in supervisory role in business development.
  • Experience in sales, structuring credit files across Retail & SME Banking, and in-depth knowledge in banking operations, risk and controls.
  • Strong knowledge of CBK prudential guidelines, Basel rules, Banking act, IFRS.

Skills/Experience Required

  • Ability to lead a team and provide strategic oversight.
  • Ability to work in diverse environments and with different cultures.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to build and maintain client relationships. •Sound financial management skills and proficiency in analyzing financial data.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills both verbal and written.
  • High integrity, professionalism, results driven and proactive approach
