Job Description

 

 

 

  • Sales Strategy and Target Achievement. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share . Set sales targets for individual representatives and the team.
  • Business Development. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including lead generation, prospecting, and networking. Increase business opportunities through various routes to market.
  • Client Relationship Management. Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Team Management and Training. Provide training, guidance, and support to sales representatives and distributors to optimize their performance. Recruit and train sales staff and allocate areas to sales representatives.
  • Market Analysis. Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge. Conduct market analysis to stay abreast of competitor activities and market trends.
  • Reporting and Forecasting. Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and analyses to senior management, highlighting performance metrics and areas for improvement. Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports for senior management.
  • Collaboration. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to support sales initiatives and drive business growth. Work with marketing and product development teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies.
  • Customer Service. Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing complaints and resolving issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications
Sales Strategy and Leadership

  • Develop and Implement Strategic Sales Plans: Create and execute plans to achieve regional sales targets, ensuring revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Leadership Skills: Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to drive sales performance and achieve company objectives.

Sales Experience and Industry Knowledge

  • Solar Sales Experience: Typically, 2+ years of experience in the solar industry, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of solar energy technologies, market trends, and regulatory frameworks.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills

  • Excellent Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities

  • Data Analysis: Use data analysis tools to monitor sales performance, identify opportunities for growth, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Problem-Solving: Proven ability to analyze market trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.

Education and Technical Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA is often preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), data analysis tools (e.g., Excel), and presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint).

Travel and Adaptability

  • Travel: Willingness to travel within the region as required to support sales activities and team management.
