Job Description
A private educational institution is looking for to fill positions in the Administration and Accounts Department.
Administration Assistant /Secretary
- To be the first point of contact for visitors to the school, extending a warm welcome to parents, visitors, contractors and delivery staff.
- Handling telephone calls and appointments
- To ensure that the reception area remains tidy, and that document and forms are updated and replenished as necessary.
- Assist with drafting of documents, printing, making copies, proof reading
- Manage records and data, and update contact lists
- Support the administration of school events
- Manage office materials, stationery and supplies
Qualifications
- Diploma in Secretarial services
- At least 2-year working experience in a busy administration department.
- Experience in a school setup will be an added advantage.
- Must have excellent communication and Human Relations skills
Accounts Intern
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and assist with basic bookkeeping tasks.
- Help with accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Assist in bank reconciliations and other reconciliations as required.
- Help prepare financial reports, budgets, and expense tracking.
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist with managing inventory
- Assist in internal audits and financial analysis.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Computer proficiency.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
