Position Summary:
The Accountant cum Office Administrator is responsible for managing both accounting functions and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the office. This dual role requires a professional with excellent organizational, financial, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Duties:
Bookkeeping:
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
Update and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Process invoices and ensure timely payment to vendors.
Manage customer invoicing and follow up on outstanding payments.
Tax Compliance:
Prepare and file VAT/GST returns and other statutory obligations.
Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
Payroll Management:
Calculate employee salaries, deductions, and benefits.
Process monthly payroll and maintain related records.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare financial statements and reports for management.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Administrative Duties:
Office Management:
Manage office supplies and inventory.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers.
Staff Coordination:
Maintain employee attendance records and leave applications.
Organize meetings, events, and travel arrangements.
Documentation:
Maintain organized records of contracts, agreements, and other important documents.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Customer Service:
Act as the first point of contact for client inquiries.
Assist with customer onboarding and document handling.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
2–5 years of experience in accounting and administrative roles.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho or Odoo).
Skills:
Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Personal Attributes:

Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Work Environment:
