Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the recruitment, selection and on-boarding processes.
- Develop strategies to improve engagement, and manage programs designed to foster teamwork, including but not limited to, recruitment, onboarding, retention, recognition, learning and development, diversity, wellness, and other activities aimed at creating a positive workplace environment.
- Participate in the continual development of HR programs, such as recruitment retention, compensation, benefits, and Learning & Development.
- Manage labour relations initiatives, ensuring compliance with the statutory requirements, Collective Bargaining Agreement as well the hospital rules and regulations.
- Prepare Business Function Human Resource forecasts in consultation HRBPs and Divisional Heads in scoping and justification of proposed and existing roles in line with the business strategy.
- Educate, coach, and partner with managers on performance management and employee development goals
- Provide HR expertise in the areas of feedback, employee relations, development and coaching, compensation, and organizational development.
- Analyze and interpret various types of employee reports (e.g., compensation, job levels, and attrition) to guide decision making and provide proactive solutions
- Conduct an Employee engagement programs, Value Proposition and Employee Engagement survey.
- Provide counsel and drive execution on workforce planning
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Social Sciences, Business Administration or any other business-related field from a recognized institution.
- 5 – 7 years’ experience with at least 3 years in a management position.
- Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) qualifications or holder of a Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management from a recognized institution.
- Must be registered with a valid practicing license from the Institute of Human Resources Management (IHRM).
- Demonstrable Health Care industry awareness.
