Job Description

What you become a part of :

  • The successful candidate will support our marketing team with product portfolio management, driving product innovation and new product development through comprehensive market research and analysis .

What to expect :

  • Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape, ensuring informed decision-making for product portfolio management.
  • Consumer Insights: Gather and analyse feedback from trade and consumers through surveys, focus groups, and interviews to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • New Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ideate and develop new products that meet market needs and align with Shalina's strategic goals.
  • Product Performance Metrics: Track and report on the performance of existing products, providing insights and recommendations for improvements or discontinuation.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and Research and Development teams to ensure alignment on product strategies and initiatives.

Essential skills :

  • Bachelors degree in life sciences, Marketing, Business, or any related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in market research, product management, or a similar role within a multi-country organization.
  • Strong data analytical skills with a proven track record in deriving actionable insights from data.
  • Experience in conducting surveys and focus groups, with a strong understanding of consumer behaviour.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-functional environment.
